As a therapist you are surely aware of the many benefits of group therapy. Unfortunately, many therapists do not have much experience participating in on-going group therapy. This is a process group for therapists and mental health clinicians. What we do is unique and therapists have some unique issues and needs. This group is a place to explore, and work through some of these needs and get support from other like minded individuals. Of course the focus, as with any process group, in on the here-and-now emotional experience. It is a place to better learn about yourself and how you relate to others.

I have been facilitating various process groups for 9 years, including other groups for therapists. Theoretically, I am integrative, but for process groups I tend to lean heavily on psychodynamic, relational, and existential perspectives. This group is a Yalom-style process group.

An initial individual consultation is required before joining the group. Please do not hesitate to contact me by phone or email if you have any questions. If you would like to schedule an initial group evaluation please call the front office and the receptionist will be glad to assist.
